time after time

August 20, 2010

I love brides like Sam who are carefree and relaxed on their wedding day…even when the hairdressers get into an accident on the way to the hotel.  Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, and both stylists were able to arrive just a little bit behind schedule and make everyone look beautiful!

I love working with grooms and groomsmen that keep everyone laughing and joking.  John’s group of friends made my job easy by keeping everyone smiling.

I also love when I have wonderful couples like Sam and John who host such a beautiful, emotional wedding day.  There were many happy tears and a lot of love.

Sam’s gift to John…a notebook of letters she wrote to him over the past year.  How sweet!

Have to love purple socks…

…and bowties

The first time her dad saw her dressed.  This picture almost makes me cry every time I see it.

This cathedral was the same one John’s parents were married in.

We spent a little time at the Toledo Museum of Art.

John and Sam kept getting honked at!

The Maumee Bay State Park and Lodge hosted great places for us to shoot.

Green bowtie!!  YES!

The toasts had everyone tearing up.

Black frosting on the cake…oops!

Congrats Sam and John!  Hope you’re enjoying Punta Cana!
