me and you

September 19, 2010

I LOVE working with Brent and Katey because they are so adorable together and so much fun!  I had a blast a few months ago during their engagement session and was excited to work with these two lovebirds again.

Katey and Brent had been talking for months about doing their pictures at Michigan State University, but, unfortunately, it rained all day Saturday.  Thankfully, Hawk Hollow has an archway with beautiful light, and the rain let up for a little bit after the ceremony to allow us to shoot outside.

Regardless of the weather, the day remained a celebration of love, friends, and family.

I also have to send out a HUGE thanks to Jennifer Morse who helped me shoot all day.  Definitely check out her work…she is fabulous!

Brent and Katey,  thank you for inviting me to such a beautiful wedding.  Both of your families are so wonderful and welcoming.  Can’t wait to work with you two again over the holidays!

Katey got a little emotional putting on her veil.

Jennifer spent the morning with the guys.  The next six images of the guys getting ready are her photos.

The photo above cracks me up.

The first look is one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding day.

Katey, you are absolutely GORGEOUS!

Katey’s reaction to pictures of the guys from the night before.  I think they might have had some fun…

We made it to MSU just long enough to take a picture with Sparty.

You might remember Brent and Katey’s BEAUTIFUL little girl, Addison.

I rarely post group pictures, but I thought this moment encapsulates the craziness of trying to get everyone together for a picture.  Love all the expressions.

Party bus!

Brent and Katey’s niece and nephew were absolutely adorable.  They loved the attention!

There always seems to be at least one little kid dancing / running like crazy on the dance floor at weddings.
