if i ain’t got you

October 5, 2010

Jamie and Courtney’s story began at Syracuse University.  They started off as friends, but it didn’t take long for their relationship to develop into something more.

While everyone was getting ready for the wedding on Saturday, one of Courtney’s bridesmaids asked her when she knew that Jamie was “the one.”  She told everyone that she knew very early on…

I think one of the most evident things about Jamie and Courtney’s relationship is that they are best friends.  Courtney’s man-of-honor said it best during his toast:  “You two are better together than you would ever be apart.”

Samantha Boone at Regis gave Courtney the PERFECT do!

Checking Facebook…of course!

Jamie is an amazing graphic designer, and he must have worked SO hard to design the invitations, the logo, the wine labels, all of the table decor…

Courtney borrowed these clips from her grandmother to add a little sparkle to her shoes.  What a great idea!

I love this moment after the dress is finally on.

All of the flowers and colors were BEAUTIFUL.

Jamie tried to kiss Courtney when he greeted her at the end of the aisle.  I think she made it very clear that it wasn’t quite the right time.  haha.

The priest surprised the bride and groom at the rehearsal by mentioning that they had to MEMORIZE their vows.  Jamie improvised a little from the traditional and told Courtney that he would love her forever (rather than saying ’til death do us part’).  Adorable.

You are GORGEOUS Courtney!

The reception took place at the exquisite Avon Old Farms Hotel.

When we did their engagement pictures this past spring, it was really cloudy.  Courtney and Jamie said that they would take a cloudy day for their engagement pictures if it would be sunny on their wedding day.

It couldn’t have been a more beautiful fall day.

There were some pretty wild entrances, including a game of leap frog…

Bock Blu Music kept everyone dancing all night!  They were AWESOME!

Jamie & Courtney:  It has truly been a pleasure getting to know the two of you.  You are both incredibly talented and enjoyable to be around.  I wish you nothing but the best as you begin your lives together.
