had to be you

October 20, 2010

I met Liz and Stu last year at Nate & Jessie’s wedding.  I had a fabulous time with them in Central Park for their engagement shoot this spring, and they kicked off the CRAZY month of October (for me!) with a BANG!

Liz immediately welcomed me like family, and all of her bridesmaids did as well.  I LOVE photographing weddings feeling like a FRIEND rather than a vendor :)

The reception was at the cutest bed and breakfast in town, The Centennial House.  I had a fabulous time working with the ladies at Salon 241 again, especially Shannon who styled Liz’s hair and did her makeup.

Liz and Stu:  You two are AMAZING…both as individuals and as a newly married couple.  I can’t wait to see how God works through you to bless other people.  Wishing you all the best, <3 Megan

Liz has incredible friends.  They stopped by her apartment on the way to the church to help clean up.  All-around really sweet girls :)

One of my favorite moments from the day.

They really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day.

Stu made cider for the guest favors.

Ashleigh gave one of the best speeches I’ve ever heard…and I’ve heard many of them.  She showed up with a “survival kit” for Stu, which included a candy bar, flashlight, teddy bear, and magazine.

Stu looks mischievous  in the third image…almost as if he is promising not to put cake in her face…

Stu’s signature move!

Congrats Liz and Stu!
